Q.M.: Hello, Maria. From the first few minutes, we can feel the perseverance and energy of a person with a strong spirit. What formed your character?
M.B.: No matter how it sounds, but I from the category of those girls who are called self-made woman. The key word of this concept is «itself». Yes, I had a hard time, but it is thanks to certain circumstances of life that I am what I am. I had to earn money from an early age and I know the value of money. I was not afraid to try something new and always believed in my success.
Q.M.: What was your first work experience, what did you have to do before you became a successful businesswoman?
M.B.: I grew up with my grandmother and her pension was not enough for us to live in full prosperity. I remember when all the children had a summer vacation, I had to work as a waitress. This was my first job and my first experience. And after school I got a job as a manager in a real estate agency and at the same time I studied at a correspondence department in the institute. When I moved to Moscow, I got a job in a car dealership, but I was sorely lacking money and I started looking for additional income. By the will of fate I tried myself in the wholesale trade of seafood from the Far East and, to everyone’s surprise, I succeeded! In addition to the wholesale of seafood, I am also engaged in real estate - rental of residential and non-residential premises. The word «work» never frightened me, I even thank fate for being taught an independent girl since childhood.
Q.M.: Looking at you now - beautiful and successful, it’s hard to believe that you had to go through some difficulties. The result is delighting. How did you discover the model business?
M.B.: Model business is my hobby, I would describe it so. I never looked for myself, quite opposite I can say. There were always proposals from different publishers to shoot and I agreed with pleasure.
Q.M.: Your schedule is planned per minute, how do you keep yourself in balance? Do you find time for sports?
M.B.: I have been attached to sports since my childhood, how long remember myself I have always been given to it completely and even I have several awards and titles - the KMS of speed skating and tekvandistka with a blue belt. Unfortunately, after a while it was necessary to abandon, as there was a dramatic lack of time.
Q.M.: You have lived abroad for some time - Greece and Dubai. Why did you return and have you ever thought about staying forever?
M.B.: Yes, I have lived in these countries for a long time. Another nationality, customs and, of course, a completely different experience. Now I am fluent in Greek and English. I returned to Russia a couple of years ago for family reasons. I cannot say unambiguously that I would like to stay forever in any of the countries. But I know for sure, motherland is the only one! I love Moscow for the mad rhythm, this is a special city, which cannot be compared with any other.
Q.M.: How do you see yourself and your future in a few years?
M.B.: The main thing for me is to clearly set goals and priorities. I live in my reality, which I myself create - this is perhaps the most fascinating. After all, our thoughts are material, what we think, that we attract. Regarding the future - I see myself as a happy, loving wife and mother. I am looking for a man with whom I will build a strong, real and friendly family.
Q.M.: Certainly there were moments when you wanted to drop your hands or did not have the strength to go further. How did you motivate yourself?
M.B.: I’m an optimist to the bone and when everything is bad, I know that it’s temporary and after the rain there will always be sunshine. To work on myself to be better tomorrow, than yesterday - this is my main goal. I never compare myself with others, because everyone has his own way and circumstances.
Q.M.: How is your normal day, if you have special morning rituals?
M.B.: Every day begins with meditation. After all, before you go out into the world, you need to put your thoughts and your body in order. Also the guarantee of a productive day is a proper and healthy breakfast - after all, it charges with energy for the whole day.
Q.M.: What do you value in people and what is the most important in the relationship between a man and a woman for you?
M.B.: In people I appreciate honesty and decency. I do not accept any kind of lie, and I will not give a second chance to those who have once deceived me. I hate when someone control me, and do not allow me to breathe freely, because this is not love at all, I would even call «captivity». I think that it is necessary to work in a relationship and be able to make compromises.
Q.M.: Tell one of the latest incredible events, what have affected your future life?
M.B.: At home I have a red-haired turtle, it is an amphibian. I think that the universe itself gave it to me. I found her on the street, at night, in Moscow, when I returned home. It was a matter of chance, stumbling, I could not believe my eyes when I saw that it was a turtle. She called it Lakshmi-akshmi (Skt. lakshmī IAST - «happiness») - the goddess of blessing, abundance, prosperity, wealth, luck and happiness. She is the embodiment of grace, beauty and charm. It is believed that its adherents will be protected from all kinds of misfortunes and poverty. Now this is my home talisman and a guard (laughs).
