Family - has one of the strongest influences on a person. Your roots and traditions give and determine a certain specific path in your life. In our family, we were brought up with strong cultural and disciplinary values. Our father focuses on discipline and believes that all your accomplishments come from hard work. Whereas our mother makes sure the family gets together. Our parents have a big presence in our life and with time you really learn to cherish that.
My brother is my best friend and honestly the first person I turn for advice to. We grew up together. In our sports family there was always a lot of traveling so people came and went but we knew that we always had each other. When I started interning and organizing hockey tournaments the two of us would travel to North America and Europe, it was a very special period in our life that I’ll never forget. I feel that our bond only strengthened with time and now added a great deal of respect for each other. We currently work together and It makes me very proud to watch him evolve
into such a strong individual.
Unfortunately I can’t disclose much information due to confidentiality reasons, but I’ll say this - it will be an interesting project where the viewers will get to see our family from a different angle, a more personal side. It took me a while to weigh everything and bring this idea to life but now I’m more excited than ever to get started.
Natasha Poly is one of my favorite models. But the goals are probably different for everyone. In my case I’m a constant work in progress, always aiming to get better, keep going, being focused on the end result. I’m obsessed with crazy schedules and exciting life rhythms. Love when my days are completely full. I’m passionate in what I do and will never pass an opportunity for a new project. I love getting out of my comfort zone, I believe without that - there’s no progress.
As you’ve probably noticed, Love for the ice runs in our family. I started my first steps on the ice at the age of 2,5, but grew too tall at some point and it became extremely difficult to do jumps. The decision was to switch to Ice dancing. Everything went uphill, I traveled and competed all over Europe and received the Master of Sports title. But at the same time the business aspect appealed to me and I decided to get an education particularly in that sphere. I consider myself a very versatile and curious person, I have a growing interest in a variety of things. I am grateful for the figure skating chapter in my life, it taught me valuable lessons of discipline, focus, rhythm & flexibility as well as
giving me a nice body. Great life experience.
Everyone in our family has a specific role in my company. For instance, my father is the coach/consultant who is in charge of the technical, physical and emotional state of the players. My mom is a specialist in the nutrition department, she creates specific meals plans for each individual based on their needs. Alex is the Player and core member of our team because the main purpose of our company is based on providing the best possible environment so he and other players that go through our system can reach their highest levels of efficiency. We’re all used to working with very hectic athlete schedules, where lots of work needs to be put in and also fast recovery is key. Since my main advantage is quick decision making in various situations and levels of difficulty, where I know the goal that needs to be reached and find the best possible strategy to get there, the whole management of our organization is in my hands, because at the end of the day nobody cares about anything except the result. However way you look at it, Time is Money.
In reality everything started a while ago, when I was 13-14 years old. If I recall correctly, it was Slava Zaitsev who was doing a show which involved figure skaters. Models were walking on the podium and the skaters were required to do moves on the ice. I remember us having such intense makeup for that show that I could barely recognize myself in the mirror. Very recently another interesting fact was revealed. Turns out that when my dad played in Milan, his agent was approached with a good opportunity from a modeling agency for me, but my father was completely against that turn of events and never even mentioned anything. I found out 10 years later (laughs). Last summer we met with his agent in Milan and all had a good laugh regarding this story. I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason. The fashion industry always appealed to me - the hairstyles, makeup, photographers and so many talented creative individuals you get to meet on your path. I can honestly spend days on set, love the whole vibe. I also like versatility, so being in a mans world from my business side of things, I feel that the fashion world gives me a certain sense of balance in my life.
My plans are grandiose, but as they say - if you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans. Nevertheless, I’ll give it a try. Currently I’m working on launching 2 websites, one for Alex and one for the company. Very focused on branding. I was always interested in the entertainment industry, we even have a running joke that my life is like a movie. I would like to get more involved in that sphere. As well as continuing to develop and grow in the fashion/modeling industry. The family business will always be my top priority, also have a clothing line in mind. Planning to open a cafe with my friend and not forgetting to travel and keep discovering our beautiful world. You have to live, not just exist.
This summer we did a family trip to Europe and also visited our grandparents in Minsk. Had an amazing time together. Hopefully next summer I can make it out to Moscow as well, maybe even earlier. I’m planning an interesting project in the fashion industry, so I’ll be back soon. I love the city, after I came back from the United States I finished Russian State University for the Humanities and got a degree in International Management before returning back to the States. Moscow will always be a huge part of my inner world.
I work with the NEXT Models agency and during our first meeting mentioned to them right away that I will be doing my business projects simultaneously. In addition to them, I had received offers from other agencies but I liked how this particular team understood me and even supported my future endeavors. To sum it up, we had an instant connection. Now there are interesting changes happening in the modeling industry with trendy social media influencers making the top of the lists. Self confidence is taking over. Individuals with character and personality are now preferred , it’s no longer just about looks. Main thing is, be sure about who you are and feel comfortable in your own skin. That’s your sales tool.
