Ed.: Diana, you look perfect, you have already prepared stage image, you do not even need to put much effort or invent something. Did they tell you that you were born for the stage?
D.S.: You certainly flatter me, but I’m very pleased. First, I would like to thank editors for the opportunity to share my history with readers. Perhaps, it will inspire and make young talents believe in themselves. Of course you should listen others opinion, but it is more important to be able to listen and HEAR yourself. For me, this is one of the important principles of life.
Ed.: Why did you connect
your life with creativity?
D.S.: Creativity comprehensively develops the person, opens set of the various doors and helps in different spheres of activity. When a person is engaged in creativity, it promotes the development of the soul, mind and body.
Ed.: What do you
need for happiness?
D.S.: For happiness I need - myself! It’s like a light in a man, and people are drawn to the light.
Ed.: Tell us more in detail, how did music come into your life, what styles do you prefer?
D.S.: The first breath is music, we should not forget about it. I want to remind myself by my own actions that there is a melody inside of each of us. It is unique and individual, like an inner voice. I do not limit myself to certain styles, because the framework is in the paintings, and I’m a music lover.
Ed.: If we talk about creativity, how important is recognition for you?
D.S.: Recognition is important for every person. The higher it is - the more opportunities to change the world for the better. On the one hand, the reward for work, and at the same time - the responsibility. Do not take this for granted, on the contrary, motivate yourself to move on and on. Heroes live in books and on screens, and in each of us. For an artist, this factor is absolutely important, because in his case recognition is a love for the work.
Ed.: Where would you like to try yourself, perhaps, realize in new projects or take part in competitions?
D.S.: I like the taste of victory, and of course, the spirit of competition. When new faces open, you are new. For me, it’s definitely unlimited possibilities and precious experience, as well as unique emotions for life.
Ed.: What role does sport play in your life, do you still have time for it?
D.S.: Sport is the universal language of human communication with the body. I am sure that without sports it is impossible to develop harmoniously. Motivation exists from the internal to the external, and vice versa - in this sport helps us. When my soul cannot cope with cloudy weather, the fastest way to raise your tone is the gym.
Ed.: What qualities, in your opinion, do you need to have in order to succeed? Do you consider yourself successful?
D.S.: Success is a very subjective concept, each has its own scope. But nevertheless, there are qualities inherent in strong personalities, leaders who are driving on the way to the top. The first is desire, it is like a sail, without it you cannot swim away, and definitely, faith in yourself. Honesty to yourself and others. Without discipline and the regime, it is also far from getting up. The presence of talent is a key factor, because it creates the system, and not vice versa. And most importantly, love. After all, it is reflected in everything.
