People often ask me how to succeed, to achieve such high results in their careers, and how have I come to this. The answer is simple: do not be afraid, you need to try, and if it does not work - analyze the situation and try again. Do not hold back and go straight ahead!
I was studying in the third year of Kherson National University, when I was offered a job in the vocal-dance group in Kiev. At that time, that was one of the most prestigious faculties of Foreign Languages on a budgetary basis. I put a lot of effort and time to enter there and learn for free.
On the part, the decision to leave university and engage in creative activities seemed a bit crazy. That time, frankly saying, I was torn between studying and rehearsals, concerts and tours. I tried to combine everything. But that was just unreal. Education took too much time, which I wanted to use more rationally. So, I have taken drastic decision to drop out, and directed all the energy on creative activities.
My parents were not too keen on this idea. They can be understood. Mom asked me: «If you fail, what would you do?». I replied without hesitation that I always have time to go back, but it is better to try and come back than not to try at all, and then to regret all the time and think that it might happen. Then I moved to Kiev. When my bandmates finished university, I have reached good results in a creative career, toured abroad, created my own ballet, made a lot of body painting work for magazines. Finally, people began treat me like a «tough» professional. I have implemented my dream in full, and managed to combine the passion for body art, music, singing and dancing in a single project called VALERYSTAR PRODUCTION, which is now known all over the world, like our shows, as well as me, but in the image of a DJ and musician.
Looking back, I do not regret of decision taken. But, nevertheless, I have graduated from university in absentia, and even got another specialty at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. Then additionally entered the Faculty of Arts. So I want to boast - I have three degrees. I’m very proud of that. I do not by no means call people to leave their studies. On the contrary, I want to say that it is very important. Just choose the right profession and not be afraid of changes, if you really need them. Everything’s simple. Nobody will do anything for you. We are blacksmiths of our lives.
I am currently working on a new musical material for my laser harp, a musical instrument which I use in my DJ sets. The new musical direction and new emotions. I enjoy the process. Besides musical career, I have been producing dance shows and other projects, promoting our company. Currently, we create a fairly powerful product from concept and sketches of a new show to its full implementation, including sewing costumes, staging, and preparation of promotional materials. Our projects are constantly touring the world.
Now I am hard to be met in Kiev. I’m rarely here. Now, I’ve just arrived from Ibiza. Week of rest, and again in a way. This time - Kazakhstan. I’m constantly on the road, performing at concerts. I am glad that the favorite work brings a lot of fun, and, what is most important - it is demanded. My concerts prove that.

Just recently, we have created a brand VSD COUTURE, and opened the company, making, concert costumes and clothing in heart of Kiev. Honestly, I did not plan doing it. But the constant demand has pushed for it. The design of all the costumes and props in our projects was made by me, and the customers started sending orders on it. Now, we have a full load, which rejoices us very much.
I work in three directions. I want to get done everything. The standing question to me is like: «How are you making everything simultaneously?». I answer honestly that actually do not have time for anything. I try to do things well to the maximum, but my perfectionism wants to keep up with more, which does not always work. But, everything is possible! Even working in three directions! One has only to want, and everything starts to turn out. Of course, you need to put more effort than usual, but the success will be the reward. Therefore, first of all, believe in yourself, do not be afraid of difficulties and confidently go to the goal!
