Her story is not about how she accidentally got into the model business. She consciously made the choice after the first successful nomination in beauty contests. Model - it is not just about fifteen minutes of fame on the show, but a lot of work on yourself. There is no doubt, she is simply flawless - from the tips of the hair to smooth curves on her body that only emphasize her sexuality.
Like the freedom-loving bird, she flutters in the clouds, only managing to change the stamps in her passport. Flights, shows, shooting, crazy rhythm – this is all about her life! And in addition, a mess in her handbag and the wind in the head, jokes Angelika.
Angelika, hello. You have quite "an advertising" face. Does it help you in promoting your modeling career?
Partly, it helped me, but I cannot say that this was the key to my success. Appearance is only the first step towards a model career, then everything depends on you. How to present and apply yourself in a particular way. Many cannot cope with it, even with an ideal model appearance.
How to keep the facial features?
Usually young girls are not cherish and do not appreciate what is given to them by nature. And then with all the forces try to save the former beauty. I, for example, already devote a lot of time for skin care. Regularly go to beauty salons, do a variety of treatments. But when there is no possibility to break into my busy schedule, I’m happy to do some care at home. Always follow these words - «find time for yourself today and thank yourself tomorrow.»
Your Universal ritual before shooting?
I do not have any «zabobonyh» rituals. But I have always been very serious about the shooting. Because still it takes some time to be geared up for the image. It is important to show the real emotions and do not overplay. This shows that profession of model combines both acting and some more skills.
How do you feel about the different manifestations of aesthetic medicine?
With respect I relate to the industry of beauty and health. We live in the 21st century, where medical techniques allow a person to improve the appearance. I’m talking about when you really need it and cannot manage without it. I do not see anything «criminal» if these changes really make a difference. Personally, I am a supporter of natural beauty, but everyone sees it differently. Therefore make the choice.
What song would you call the soundtrack of your life?
It is difficult define at once, probably I would chose the song «I will survive» of the singer Tina Turner, as it is close to me by spirit. Our whole life is a struggle. And all that I have, I win by myself. When you have to fight for something and achieve by yourself, then it is more appreciated.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I do not want to open all the cards at once, I’m a little superstitious, to be honest. Guessing for the future - not mine and even more to advertise it. I am a person of action, not words. When it will happen, I will necessarily share with your magazine, and now let’s leave this question open.
Do you have a motto?
«After each sunset always comes a sunrise». Perhaps these words can explain my attitude to life and many other things. I try to enjoy every moment. Life is so changeable that you never know where it will turn tomorrow. But you do not need to upset, because after a bad necessarily comes good.
If you could live anywhere in the world, what would you choose?
When you live in a mad rhythm, seven days a week without rest - at first it’s exciting, you feel a lot of strength and energy. But then they go somewhere. I mean, it is very difficult to find peace and appeasement in the city. There is a desire to escape somewhere from this turmoil. That’s why I want to live in a very spiritual place, surrounded by nature. In fact, all these affect both the physical and mental state.
Do your ideas about the model’s work somehow change over the time?
I can say from personal experience that the requirements of the model every year grow and grow. Now this profession requires flexibility from the girls, and quick adaptation in addition to the perfect appearance. That’s why the amount of models becomes less. Not everyone is ready for this, expectation and reality, as it is said, are quite different.
What super power would you like to possess?
It was great to be able to teleport, sometimes I really need that. I always have a lot of plans for the day, but that’s life and sometimes not everything goes as you planned. But you still have time to try, in those moments I’m thinking about the excess capacity (laughs). This would greatly facilitate my life.
What do you like to receive as a gift?
You know, it’s all very individual, depending on many factors. Like any other girl, I will not lie and confess that I love worth presents. But sometimes, even some little thing can bring many positive emotions and joy. I am inclined to think that it’s always more important the person who presents the gift rather than the gift itself. The main thing you need to distinguish «price» and «value».
What fashion event has produced a strong impression on you?
So now it’s difficult to select one. When you are a part of the fashion event and when you take part as a guest - very different feeling. I often have to be a part of the event. Believe me, there is no so strong impression, because you’re not a guest, able to see only the beautiful «wrapper» event, but rather a part of the «behind the scenes».
The heroine of what movie do you want to become?
I admire people who can lead other in difficult situations. So-called «heroes of our time». They are found not only in the movies, but also in everyday life, we do not present them in proper way. I mean I always wanted to be one of them, if not in reality, then at least in the plot.
