M.D.: Nika, in the past, you - a successful model. And today, you are not less successful, but are shot «not with enthusiasm.» What was the cause of a slowdown?

N.N.: Modelling has always been for me nothing more than a hobby or a passion. It is the occupation, in contact with which you feel yourself as a part of the world of fashion, beauty and aesthetics. Experience in modeling business has never been unnecessary for someone. After all models are taught how to move gracefully, to pose, help to find your own style, and so on. But the main occupation, as for me, this cannot be. So for me it is time to engage in more serious things. As the saying goes, « fun is fun, but there’s the job waiting» This «time» I can only spend on the most worth  offers. Over time, you learn to «filter» all things in life to worth and worthless, and no doubt cast a «trumpery».

M.D.: Your profession, diplomat, the choice you have made by yourself or you have asked relatives?

N.N.: The selection of the Faculty appeared to me quite a spontaneous decision. No one suggests me neither the parents nor the inner voice. But, despite the selection of my specialization, I would not assert clearly that, in the future, I will be a diplomat. At this point, I’m just a student, a student at the Faculty of International Relations. I will not hide – it’s a great pleasure to study at this faculty. It would be nice in the future to try myself in the role of a diplomat, but life will show, as they say, «God works in mysterious ways.» I believe for sure I will find the sphere in which it will be pleasure to put my power and money!

M.D.: Speaking of family: tell us about your family and parents. I wonder what principles you were instilled in childhood, brought up such as a strong character?

N.N.: I believe that I have the most wonderful parents, who since childhood surrounded me with love and care. In addition, they have been quite demanding for me. All that is meant by the expression «family home», it seems to me, is about my home. I am very grateful for the support of friends in all my beginnings. When you «build» something it is very important to feel «a strong foundation» for yourself. That’s the foundation for me has always been my family. And the power of the spirit and will to win – these features I get from sport which I have been doing since childhood.

M.D.: By the way, you have given all your childhood to sports career. What kind of sport did you go in for?

N.N.: I was engaged in synchronized swimming. Physical development - is the main factor when choosing a sport. But it is equally important to take into account the emotional state of a person. When I enrolled in the swimming section, I immediately  felt a powerful burst of energy and adrenaline. Life began to fill with meaning! Since my childhood I loved the water, and my new hobby really brought me great pleasure. Synchronized swimming - it is very beautiful, and a sense of beauty was instilled from birth to me by my mother. It is still vital that all that surrounds me, really brings me esthetic pleasure.

M.D.: Sports tempers the man around. What traits of the character does it develop in you?

N.N.: Absolutely right. This sport brings in a man the features that are peculiar only to leaders: persistence, desire of victories, willpower, independence, etc. Since childhood (from 7 years), I started to attend on my own. It gave me the feeling that I trust my family, that I manage my life by myself. In other words - it was a sense of responsibility. I’ve never been afraid to «get out of my comfort zone.» As it turns out, 80% of the population who does not succeed in life, are afraid of it!

M.D.: Do you have your amulet there, object or animal that «magically» supports you in all your endeavors? 

N.N.: As I said, the amulet is a strong spiritual support and love of my family, which magically always leads me to the right decision and, in the end, to victory.

M.D.: Where does, such a fragile and beautiful girl, get an interest to politics?

N.N.: Such interest really has a place. From an early age, that policy was something incomprehensible to me. Due to the fact that I - the person very curious (laughs), it’s time to understand all this.

M.D.: What do you make smile on your face even in the cloudy days?

N.N.: All good, bright, full of positives. I love nature, where your body and soul can relax, «charged» with vivacity and energy. I love children and animals. Only they are always «real», cute, direct, unprotected. In fact, for me it is a sore subject. I always sincerely wanted to help these deserving children and animals, and how the further life will happen, no matter what path I will chose, my main goal is to open a charitable foundation.

M.D.:  What do you think is the secret of your success?

N.N.: The fact that I do believe in what I do. I live the purpose of visualizing every moment of sweet victory, looking forward to it, I live it! This is very important, but more importantly - to do everything  to achieve your goal and even little more. In other words - work out for hundred or even two hundred percent. Then, you are ahead! Never, never give up! Perseverance and a little effort!

M.D.: Do you have many friends? How do you define if you can trust the person?

N.N.: My true friends can be counted on the fingers, with one hand, and this is normal. Time - the greatest asset and the most expensive currency of each person. I give it to the people, and they remain and gain my trust or just go away, each time presenting an important lesson to me.

M.D.: So, time is what you value in life the most?

N.N.: Exactly! Time cannot be bought for any money. Everybody knows the secret, everybody feels like time is running out. But everyone has the right to decide how to spend time with benefits for themselves and loved ones. After all, you can easily miss it through your fingers like sand.

Our guest is a girl, who is envied by many, respected and valued in the world of high fashion. Meet Snezhana Baranova!

M.D.: Snezhana, hello! We are very pleased to communicate with the owner of numerous titles.

S.B.: To begin, I would like to ask when did your beauty become open to the world? This happened in October 2013, in the contest «Mrs. St. Petersburg». For me it was an unexplored area, where, as it seemed to me, you can unleash your creativity and use this success to launch other projects important to me. Yes, I had already made plans (laughs)! 

M.D.: Tell us about your first beauty contest.

S.B.: I participated in many beauty contests, gained victories, but, of course, the first contest, which was called «Mrs. St. Petersburg», I remember the most. In part, due to the fact that it was my debut and it was my start in the creative plan. It was a bright and exciting theatrical performance that was memorable to me and my family.

M.D.: Among the many competiti-ons in which you have participated and won, what kind of competition could you note?

S.B.: The most special was the contest «Mrs. Intercontinental 2015» or «Mrs. all over the world» - an international beauty contest, which has a half-century history. It was held in Mexico. I was able to become the first Russian woman in the entire history of the contest, which was able to win and become the most beautiful woman in Europe and the World. 

M.D.: Open the secret of how to become a beauty queen?

S.B.: Well, of course, the first thing that comes to mind - a woman must be really very beautiful. But the classic appearance - this is not the all. After all, the beauty - the many - sided concept. Beautiful is one who takes care of herself. Beautiful is one who is familiar with the etiquette. Beautiful is one who knows how to express their thoughts and have a sense of tact. Beautiful we call people who are able to feel and see the beauty, because the soul - it is a huge component of this concept. Beautiful woman - a gentle woman, feminine. And these qualities appear with motherhood. Beauty - it is when you love life, and even in gray, you know how to find the bright colors. Genuine beauty - it is good. To be beautiful means to be hard-working. These are required facets of beauty that women need to become a «beauty queen». 

M.D.: What is the secret of your success? After all, you are no doubt already successful  woman.

S.B.: With regard to beauty contests, I have reached the desired results, and quite happy! I’m one of that people who does not just dream, but also embodies the dreams into reality. I constantly work to achieve the desired results. My victories in beauty contests have created an excellent foundation for my other projects in film and television, and, of course, advertising. I also participate in fashion shows, various fashion weeks. This happens not only in St. Petersburg, but also abroad.

M.D.: It is known that you have a loving husband and baby daughter. How do you keep the family hearth?

S.B.: For me, as for the mother and wife, of course, in the first place is always the family. In the ideal family reigns mutual understanding and respect.  I was taught this from childhood. I am lucky that next to me there is a very kind, honest and responsible person who supports me in all my endeavors. Family life has taught me to be grateful for everything that is happening around. This, perhaps, helps to build a career, raise a daughter and to take care of her husband.

M.D.: How do you maintain the beauty? Sport, diet, rules?

S.B.: Woman has three components of beauty. Physical beauty - it is something that concerns her appearance. Interior is expressed by her character and spiritual beauty – it’s her thoughts. Only if these three components are in harmony with each other, we can call a beautiful woman in an absolute sense. My beauty - in my sincerity, sociability and goodwill! My appearance affects my mood, well-being, overall health. And this relationship is mutual: the better I look, the better I feel. And the better I feel, the more beneficial it affects the condition of the skin and hair. To be pleased with my reflection in the mirror as long as possible and face and body skin has the freshness and elasticity, requires a valid and comprehensive care daily. It consists of cleansing the face, moisturizing, nourishment and protection from the effects of adverse factors, and, of course, sports facilities, such as gym and pool.  

M.D.: What principles do you practice in the education of your daughter?

S.B.: I bring up my daughter to be kind, sympathetic and decent. At this stage - it’s the most important thing. In the education of children personal example is very important: more you explain and show by example, then less will have to be punished. But the main thing for me - is that she grew a full and happy girl. Of course, a lot of emphasis I do on the cultural development of the child: we often visit museums, exhibitions, beautiful places, parks and more. Vicky with pleasure learns the history and culture of St. Petersburg. She grows fully developed child. 

M.D.: What qualities do you value the most in a man?

S.B.: The main thing - the ideal man must be reliable and true to his word. He should be able to do all male things. Well, you know it, drill, nails, trees, cars, and others. He must love his woman and children as well as being highly motivated and rebellious to fate, no matter how angry it was. For men willpower is important in achieving his aims, character of the fighter, ability to lead, rather than subordinate, the ability to win respect, not to omit others, the ability to develop himself. Responsibility for everything that happens in his life and in the lives of his children and wife perfect man takes over.

M.D.: What would you wish to our readers?

S.B.: I would like to wish that they were loved, and their eyes burn with determination. I want them to have confidence in themselves and in their own abilities, the relevance and success. I believe that only with such a combination of love and career woman can be truly happy. Learn how to enjoy everything that is happening around you in your life more fun, sincere smiles and people who will remain with you forever. Remember: your future depends only on you! 

M.D.: Ekaterina, hello. Recently, has appeared the information on the Internet that you have become, literally, «personal model of Pierre Cardin». Tell us more about it.

E.R.: Good afternoon! Yes, it’s reliable information. After winning the Miss World Beauty Contest 2015, I was invited to the show, Pierre Cardin, where I received a diploma and became a personal model of Pierre Cardin. I, of course, very pleased that I was chosen. This is another note in the list of victories in my way to the career. It is known that you took part in a variety of large beauty contests. After all, what kind of competition imposed the biggest imprint on your life and career? I think that the participation not only in worldwide, but also average level contributes to the promotion and advancement of the model career. Plus experience, valuable experience... Definitely, the greatest experience I brought in worldwide beauty contests. This is Miss Europe World 2015 and Miss World Beauty 2015. Still, the level of such «high-profile» events makes really to look worthily. And knowing my passionate temper —  not just to look worthily but also to win! Last year you won the international beauty competition «MISS WORLD BEAUTY 2015». How is it different from previous competitions, in which you have previously took part? The competition is noted for its organization. Interesting and unforgettable event for me personally. Contestants have very tight schedule. Every day we were shooting, rehearsals and gifts from sponsors. This was incredibly nice, interesting and exciting. I have only good experience.

M.D.: In your opinion, how exactly you charmed the audience and the jury? What exactly, in addition to your «unearthly beauty» helped you to get the crown?

E.R.: Beauty —  a terrible force, there are a lot of beautiful girls ... To win a beauty contest, she has to be adventurous, original, and should be able to do something more than just to have a nice walk. This may be some kind of special trait which will allocate you from the crowd of other participants. In addition, the girl must have non-verbal communication with the public and what is more important —  with the jury. It’s kind of magnetism, hidden sexuality, confidence in every step and movement. In addition, of course, the girl must be talented. I have many hobbies: I sing, write poetry, dancing, at the same time to play basketball, and acrobatics. While participating in this contest, I decided to show not only my vocal talent, but also creativity —  to perform a song of my own composition —  it is an opportunity to lift the curtain of my inner world to the audience. I think that’s how I «earned» another «plus sign» in the forms of the jury.

M.D.: What  is   love for   you,    and    what    are      you  ready for it? The exact definition you will not read in any book. Maybe because this happens in different ways. Perhaps love — is when your half becomes for you the meaning of life, when all thought are about him, every moment, what haven’t you done, but he is in your heart and mind! When you are together — you want to move only forward.

E.R.: Have you done something for what you can be proud of yourself? Honestly, I do not like to talk about those things that are worthy of respect. After all, they are already known and remembered . Yes, I have helped many people. My friends always tell me thank you for the fact that I appeared in their life. I really enjoy encourage people on the deeds. Giving them the impetus and the desire for development.

M.D.: Was there a place for some crazy actions?

E.R.: Of course it was — I often commit them, you can say all the time. Life is boring without madness. I will say more — the life itself — foolishness! I love to travel, I love to adventure, I am to some kind an adventuress. I can at any time be called by friends and asked  to fly somewhere, I always agree, without even thinking. 

M.D.: You are certainly a successful woman. Do you feel the person held today?

E.R.: Yes, I consider myself successful person, but in any case not held. I still did not find «my deal» of an industry that I am ready to develop all my life, putting back my whole soul, strength and potential. But I can say that it will be connected with creativity, fashion, beauty. 

M.D.: I would like to know what are your plans for the future. As a creative and very eccentric personality — whether you want to try yourself in something new?

E.R.: In my mind there are a lot of ideas in my head. Become interior designer, clothing, open a beauty salon... But one interesting and the most important point is remained in a secret. 

M.D.: Your relatives, friends — do they support you in choosing the way of life?

E.R.: I have the most wonderful family. I love my family and I thank God every day for the fact that such people around me. If you look at «in the context of» the life of every successful person — you can see the people who not only support, but also help. I am a lucky one, my family just like that!

M.D.: And the traditional question. Knowing your great experience and success in the modeling industry, what can you wish to beginners models?

E.R.: I would like to give a piece of advice: «Do not look yourself in the other, find yourselves in yourself!» Do not imitate the «dolls». Each girl has some special thrill and personality. The main thing is not to find but understand. Of course - the nature beauty the one given by God. Therefore, it is not necessary to change anything, you need to love yourself.
